HOU’s Student Films Showcase

48o Drama International Short Film Festival – 2025

The programme “Film Studies: Screenplay, Filmmaking and Research” of the Hellenic Open University’s School of Applied Arts and Sustainable Design aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge in order to work in various fields of audiovisual and film production, providing them with theoretical and practical skills in a wide range of cognitive fields within the art of cinema. As part of the collaboration between the Hellenic Open University and the DISFF, selected student projects from the Directing modules of the Spring 2023–2024 and Autumn 2024–2025 semesters will be screened. It is worth noting that these projects adhere to specific requirements and constraints regarding duration, narrative structure, and formal choices, which have been established for educational purposes and vary by module.
