Ελήφθησαν πάνω από 90 σχέδια απ’ όλον τον κόσμο, ιδιαίτερα υψηλών προδιαγραφών. Με μεγάλη χαρά η εκπαιδευτική ομάδα του Drama Pitching Lab καλωσορίζει την υποβολή πολλών σχεδίων ντοκιμαντέρ, docu-fiction και animation. Επιλέχθηκαν σχέδια από τη μακρινή Κίνα και την Αυστραλία, και από το Μεξικό ως την Ευρώπη. Ιδιαίτερα υψηλών απαιτήσεων ήταν και τα σχέδια από την Ελλάδα, πολλά από τα οποία, θα άξιζε να αναπτυχθούν σε σενάρια για μεγάλου μήκους, καθότι περιέχουν πλούσιες ιστορίες, που δε θα κατάφερναν να ολοκληρωθούν στη μικρού μήκους φόρμα. Αξίζει να αναφερθεί ότι το ιστορικό στοιχείο , το δραματοποιημένο ντοκιμαντέρ, οι οικογενειακές σχέσεις διευρυμένες σε όλες τις πιθανές εκδοχές , όπως εμφανίζονται στη σύγχρονη εποχή, τα κοινωνικά προβλήματα καθώς και οι φιλοσοφικές αναζητήσεις, έδωσαν τον τόνο στις φετινές υποψηφιότητες. Το Pitching Lab, φέτος, αποφάσισε να δεχθεί 15 σχέδια, καθώς η διαδικτυακή πλατφόρμα , μπορεί να επιτρέψει τη μεγαλύτερη συμμετοχή, και κατά συνέπεια, να διευρύνει την παγκόσμια εμβέλεια του, υποδεχόμενοι στην οικογένεια της Δράμας, τους νέους κινηματογραφιστές απ’ όλον τον κόσμο.
We received more than 90 projects of an especially high standard. The educators’ team of the Drama Pitching Lab is delighted to welcome the submission of numerous projects for documentaries, docu-fiction and animation. The projects selected range from far-away China and Australia, and from Mexico to Europe. The Greek submissions were of a particularly high level, many of them potentially warranting a feature film script development, as they contain intricate stories which couldn’t be completed in short-film form. It is worth mentioning that the historical element, dramatized documentary, family relations in all possible scenarios relevant to contemporary life, philosophical questions, and social problems, set the tone for this year’s nominations. This year, the Pitching Lab decided to accept 15 projects, as the online platform allows for wider participation, expanding its international reach by welcoming young filmmakers from all over the world into the Drama family.
