Τhe Drama Festival travelled to Tirana

The Drama International Short Film Festival travelled to Tirana for the Tirana Mediterranean Film Festival (May 28–31), strengthening cultural exchange and collaboration across the Mediterranean film community.
As a member of the jury, the Festival’s General Coordinator presented six selected films to the audience and introduced the initiatives of the Drama Festival, while also highlighting the role film festivals can play in promoting films to wider audiences and supporting their circulation beyond the traditional festival circuit.
The festival also featured a tribute to the filmography of Neritan Zinxhiria, the two-time Drama Golden Dionysus Award winner, celebrating the work of one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary cinema.
Among this year’s award winners, I’m Glad You’re Dead Now received the Best Director Award, while George Valsamis was honoured with the Best Cinematography Award. Karafil Sena received the Best Actor Award for his performance in Roots by Konstantinos Doxiadis.
