Synopsis: Nimrod, 31, gay film maker is walking Tel  Aviv main street and meets Daniele, A friend film maker, who “made it, who walks with his huge dog. The dog aggressively attacks Nimrod.
A Bit wounded, he continues walking, meets an old woman and converse with her. she criticizes the way he lives, telling him he must take control of his life like she did, when she was young.
While looking at pens in a shop, he feels the older shop owner, David, is gay. He isn’t Nimrod’s type, but he plays with him. Nimrod tells him that he is writer and David share his unfulfilled dream of being a singer. Encouraged by Nimrod, David sings. David’s energy shifts totally the moment he performs, and Nimrod kisses him, telling him sometimes you must do as you feel in the moment.
in front of a convenient store, Nimrod witnesses a horrific scene. A group of undercover cops, grab and arrest a young Arab guy who works at the store. The store manager shouts at them that he did nothing. The guy resists physically while he looks directly into Nimrod’s eyes and shouts at him “I’m Ali, I have a name. Remember it”.   They drag him and drive off. It’s a moment when Nimrod is looking at an act of brutality, in daylight and does nothing.
A woman, French tourist, asks Nimrod for direction to the beach, Nimrod helps her. She walks away, while an electric bicycle driver cutting him off and swearing him badly, hitting his head. He pauses for a moment, looking at his city silently.

Short cv: Yuval Aharoni was born in 1981 and lives in Israel. TAU, Film School graduate. Director, casting director, script writer, script editor and actors’ coacher.
Yuval has been working for eight years alongside Ronit Elkabetz and Shlomi Elkabetz on their films -Testimony (Venice FF), Shiva and Gett-The Trial of Vivian Amsalem (Cannes FF).

Wrote and directed his short film Heritage, 25 min. world premiere at the cinefondation, Cannes FF, 2017.
Future projects-
Eed- full length script (won development fund- Rabinowitz FF).
In the street- short, 15 min. in development stage. Shooting approximately at end of 2018.
Fireworks- full length script, planned for 2019.


Short cv: Shlomi Elkabetz is an internationaly renowned director-writer-producer, whose films, many made with his late sister, Ronit Elkabetz, were widly screened at leading international film festivals and won major awards worldwide.
He produced and tirected  testimony (2011), premired at the Venice film festival. In 2014, he produced  and directed Gett, which was the opening film at Director’s Forthnight in Cannes. Won the Israeli Academy award for Best Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreigh Film in 2015.
In 2016, his company, DBGFilms, produced  In Between by Maysaloun Hamoud, which premiered at Toronto film festival and was screened at San Sebastian film festival and won the Audience Award. The film was screened and distributed around the world.
