He studied Film Direction in Athens (Stavrakos Film School) and Munich (H.F.F.), supported by a scholarship from the Greek Film Center, and also studied Theatrology at the University of Athens.

He participated in the program “Melina – Education and Culture”, while he has also worked as a researcher in the relationship between Education and Culture (Adult Training Centers) and maintaining the audiovisual legacy (digitization of the archives of the Greek Film Center).

He has directed the award-winning short film “The Photographer of Trikala”.

He planned and directed the film exhibition “News from Patras: the Labyrinth with images”, for the organisation “Patras – Cultural Capital of Europe 2006”, using archived film material on the city of Patras, in order to create an original, multi-faceted and interactive audiovisual narration, where the spectators could follow a personal route into the labyrinth of the city’s memories. The exhibition drew 17.000 spectators in 40 days.

He graduated from the Discovery Campus Masterschool 2006, with the documentary plan entitled “The Hide”, while he is currently a Scientific Advisor for the Film Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he teaches Documentary Direction.
