After studying Biology, he undertook film studies at the ESAV (Higher School of Audiovisual Studies) at Toulouse.

He has worked in television, specifically for channels Canal Plus and France 3, and has directed numerous documentaries for the Arte Channel, such as « CRYPTOPUZZLE », « LE BŒUF MANGEUR DE SERPENTS », « RETOUR VERS LE NEOLITHIQUE », « LES GANGSTERS DE LA SCIENCE »…
He has also directed short films, such as the film «LE PETIT FRERE D'HUGUETTE », which received the Audience Award and the Special Jury Prize at the Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, and the film «HERMANN HEINZEL ORNITHOLOGUE », which was nominated for a César award.
In 2005 he directed the short film « LE MAMMOUTH POBALSKI », which received the Audience Award and the FNAC New Talent Award at the Festival of Clermont Ferrand and was was nominated for a César award in 2006.

In October of 2007 he directed a television film for the German-French channel ARTE, entitled « ALMASTY, LA DERNIERE EXPEDITION », which is a part of the collection « Aux quatre coins du monde » (at the four corners of the world), and was nominated at the La Rochelle Festival in September of 2008.

He is currently in the process of writing a feature film entitled « OUBALSKI ».
