He is a member of the European Film Academy. He studied Political Sciences at the University of Athens. He has worked as a writer in newspapers and other publications, as a Professor at the Department of Photography of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and a Professor of Film Direction at the “AKMI” Private Vocational Institute. He has been the Artistic Director of the International Documentary Festival of Kalamata and the vice-president of the Greek Film Center.

He has directed short films (“The city” - 1988, “The End” - 1990), theatrical plays (“Mythic zone” - 1999, “The guilty songs” - 2003), documentaries (“The terror of matter”) and has published books (“Hell’s Saints”, “The fall of the century”, “Medeia of the stars”).

He has lectured about cinema, he has taken part in relevant conferences and has served as a member of the Jury in numerous international film festivals.
