STRATOS KERSANIDIS

Film Critic - Reporter

He was born in Thessaloniki in 1957. He studied Economics at Cluz-Napoka of Romania, and Journalism in Thessaloniki.

He has collaborated with newspapers (Thessaloniki, Kathimerini), magazines, radio stations (A-103, Paratiritis, Egnatia), and television stations (ET-3, NET), he has published texts in collective publications and has edited the book about Dimos Theos that was published by the Thessaloniki Film Festival. He has taught Film History, has participated in seminars, lectures and talks, while he has also served as a member of the Jury in various Greek and International Festivals.

For many years he has been the chief editor of the historical magazine EXOSTIS, in Thessaloniki, of which he is still a part today.

He is the chief editor of the magazine PLATEIA and is the film critic-film presenter of the CITY magazine and the EPOCHI newspaper. For more than 15 years he has been the chief editor of the SUBTITLES, the daily newspaper of the Drama Short Film Festival.
