He has been involved with screenwriting for cinema, television and radio for over forty years, and some of his most notable scripts have been "QUEEN OF CLUBS", which received two awards from the Critics Union (photography and acting), "THE APOLLO OPERATION" (international co-production), "BYZANTINE RHAPSODY", which also received two awards from the New York Critics Union (music and acting). Afterwards and during the years of the dictatorship in Greece, he would write commercial scripts. Since 1975, he has shifted his interest towards television, where two of the dramatic series that he wrote received awards for original screenplay (Georgios Viziinos) and adapted screenplay (Patients and wayfarers). At this time he was also the President of the Greek Screenwriters Union, a member of the Advisory Committee for the Cinema, a member of the Board of the Greek Film Center, and a member of the Judging Board of the Greek Film Center. |
