ILIAS KANELIS

He was born in 1960. In 1984, while still a student, he published a cinema magazine called "Camera", and since then he has concentrated on cinema as a critic. Concurrently he has worked in the field of Journalism, almost in all its specialties: proofreader, content editor, reporter, art critic, political analyst, columnist, editor-in-chief, editing manager. For the last few years he has been working for the newspaper "Nea" and for the magazine "Tachidromos", and also has a daily radio show at the Athina 9.84 radio station. In the previous summer he published and directed the newspaper "f" of the Greek Festival. He has also written the book "Ethnohooliganism. The Greek public opinion during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games" (Oxy publ.) and has also edited the film monographs "Stavros Tornes" (along with Stavros Kaplanidis, and, for the Italian edition with supplemental assistance by Sergio Grmek Germani), "Kostas Gavras", "Stavros Tsiolis".
