ARIS FATOUROS

He was born in Lefkada in 1962, and grew up in Athens.

He studied Physics at the University of Athens and briefly worked as a teacher.

He also studied Political Sciences at the Pantio University and Film Direction at the Stavrakos Film School.

From 1989 to 1998 he worked as assistant director, executive producer, producer and director in various film and television productions.

He was a co-founder of the group "mikro (small)". From 1998-2000 he had the role of special advisor to the National Radiotelevision Channel (ERT), where he designed and implemented the program "Microfilm", which has led to the production of more than one hundred short films in eight years.

Since 2001 he has been an advisor for the European program for screenwriting of the Mediterranean Film Institute and since 2002 he has been working as program director for the television station of the Greek Parliament.
