TASOS ALEKSAKIS

He was born in Krokees, Lakonia, in 1945. He studied at the Higher School of Electronics (1963-1965) and the Television Film School (Director of Photography) (1965-1968).

Since 1965 he has worked as an assistant Director of Photography while, since 1974, he has worked as a Director of Photography. He has shot over thousand hours of t.v. programs (teleplays, documentaries, cultural magazinos, t.v. series etc.)

1980: Secretary of GUFTAT (Greek Union of Film, Television and Audiovisual Technicians)

1982: President of GUFTAT

1984: ÅÑÔ-2 Director

1985: ÅÑÔ-1 Second General Manager

1988: ÅÑÔ3 President's Special Advisor

1982-88: Member of the GFC (Greek Film Center) Board of Directors and Advisory Council

1990-1993: President of GUFTAT and Secretary General of Ð.Ï.È.Á

1994: ÅÔ-1 General Manager and Second General Manager with GM competencies

1995: President and Managing Director of the ERT Production and Marketing Company

He was the president of GUFTAT since 1982 for 15 years.
