It is high time to join all the split activities resulting from the cooperation among film- related and other agencies of our country.

The Drama Festival has entered the new film scenery in one piece.

However, the quality of the Greek films sets higher standards and goals.

Our on-going objective is to keep up with the quick technological developments applying them in the Festival’s facilities and to complete the building facilities.

Two hundred films from 48 countries worldwide make up a broad program offering the audience a unique possibility to watch the largest part of this year’s international production.

Through the Festival’s recognition by an ever increasing number of big international film organizations like EFA and its cooperation with the European Coordination of Film Festivals we get the best European films of the previous year that are screened within the framework of the Festival’s parallel events.
This year again, we would like to thank the EFA and the U.I.P, the European Coordination of Film Festivals and the Jameson.

On a national level, we wish to thank ERT, which has been our sponsor and communication sponsor for many years and the GFC for its cooperation.

But above all, we would like to thank the filmmakers for entrusting us their work, their vision.
